Mytvs parent portal

• MyTVS Parent Portal
  • Throughout the academic year you will use the TVS website to update medical and contact information, view our TVS community directory, and access the calendar and lunch menu. 
  • Health/Medical Forms – Health forms are collected by Magnus Health within the FACTS Family Portal.  Click on Student and then Medical. Then click the Magnus Health portal Login button. This is where you will update your child's medical information and emergency contacts.

GENERAL Information

• Billing or Payment Questions - You will receive a hard copy student billing statement by mail for charges such as tuition, class fees, or athletics fees.  Student billing charges can be paid by check or ACH bank draft, if you provide bank information to the Business Office. Dining charges are billed to a separate account and dining statements are sent through email.  Dining charges are the only charges that can be seen and paid in the parent portal via a credit card.  A video will be included with your parent portal log in information explaining how to pay or add money to your child's dining account online.  Dining charges can be paid by credit card online through the parent portal, by dropping off a check in Central Administration (across from the flagpoles on the lower school circle), by mailing a check to the school or by contacting the Business Office and requesting that we draft the bank account on file.  For billing questions, please call the main number and ask for the Business Office.
• Uniform Information (grades Pre-K-12) - Detailed information about uniforms can be found on the TVS website.  Your Link Family will be a good resource if you have questions about what students typically wear, how many pieces are needed, etc.  Uniforms can be tried on and purchased at the Fort Worth Mills Uniform store at 5460 E. Loop 820 S., Fort Worth, TX 76119 - (817) 563-7100.  Store hours are Tuesday-Friday, 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Saturday, 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.  To order TVS uniforms online, go to https://www.millswear.com, then find TVS by school code (enter 7500). Mills will have a Summer Sale from June 10th-20th. 
  • TVS Uniform Resale Store OPEN Wednesday, June 22 from 9 am - 4 pm. Virtual orders will be filled all summer by emailing uniformresale@trinityvalleyschool.org. 
• Parental Parking Sticker - Throughout the summer, TVS Security will be scanning driver’s licenses for the 2022-2023 school year.  Each adult in your family and caregiver who will be driving to campus for any reason needs to complete this brief process in order to receive a security sticker for his/her car.  The sticker should be placed on the lower left corner of the vehicle’s windshield.  This sticker allows the driver to enter campus without stopping at the security gate.  You are encouraged to have your license scanned and pick up a TVS sticker prior to the first day of school.  Scanners are available after July 15 at both security gates.
• Bus Transportation Information – Our Colleyville/Beach Street route is no longer available. If you are interested in the 76107 route, contact Jennifer Smith at smithjs@trinityvalleyschool.org.

• Kindergarten: 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Grades 1-4: 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Class Lists

• You will be able to see family contact information and search grade lists in our MyTVS parent portal after June 15th. Classroom teacher assignments for grades PK-4 will be emailed approximately one week before school begins.

• Lower School supplies are included in tuition and provided to students at the beginning of school.

Trojan Extended Day (TED) – Grades Pre-K-4th 

• Lower School Trojan Extended Day, also called “TED,” provides a safe, creative, and positive before and after school environment for TVS students in grades PK-4. TED time prioritizes play (indoors and outdoors), but also includes homework and snack time. Cynthia Davis, TED Program Coordinator, leads the caring extended care team. Before care generally runs from 7:00-8:00 am. After care generally runs from the end of school to 6:00 pm. 
• General information about the Trojan Extended Day program for grades Pre-K through 4 can be found on the TVS website in the Programs/Student Life section.  

School Hours (subject to slight modifications)

• Grades 5-6: 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Grades 7-8: 8:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. (followed by PE/Athletics until 3:30/4:00 – varies slightly by sport)

Middle School Curriculum and Student Schedules

• Students entering 5^th grade do not have any math or language choices to make. iPads will be distributed to all students after the beginning of the school year.
• Students entering 6^th grade should have received an email with a google form concerning language selections. 
• Students entering 6^th-8^th grades will receive a sign up form later in the summer with dates/times for iPad pick-up.

Athletics/Physical Education

• PE Uniforms/Practice Uniforms
  • Grades 5 and 6 do not change clothes for PE.  Grades 7-8 may wear any TVS shirt or a shirt in school colors.  Items can be purchased from the Spirit Store online on the Athletics page (https://trinity-valley-school.myshopify.com/) or during open hours on campus, but your child will accumulate plenty of TVS shirts along the way as well.  Shorts should be black, royal, navy or Columbia blue.  Any pair of non-marking uniform appropriate low-top tennis shoes can be worn.  Students usually bring PE clothes at the beginning of each week.  Students will be assigned a locker with a built-in lock.  Practice uniforms (if necessary) are issued with uniforms at the beginning of each athletic season.

    • All students participating in TVS Athletics (including cheer, dance and PE) in grades 7-12 are required to have a Pre-Participation Physical Exam performed by a physician to determine if they are physically capable of participating. To better align with preventative healthcare and best practices a new physical exam is required every year. Health forms are collected by Magnus Health within the FACTS Family Portal.  Click on Student and then Medical. Then click the Magnus Health portal Login button. This is where you will update your child's medical information and emergency contacts.

Trojan Supervised Study (TSS)

• Middle School Trojan Supervised Study, also called “TSS,” provides students in grades 5-8 with a safe, quiet, and structured environment to complete homework, study for assessments, and further develop organizational skills. Middle School teachers from varying subject areas provide both academic and organizational support with a small student to teacher ratio. TSS occurs Monday through Friday in a Middle School classroom. Students report to the TSS location after school and remain there until they are picked up, no later than 5:45 pm.

• Tutorial Period: 8:00 a.m. – 8:40 a.m.
• Academic classes: 8:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
• Sports, drama practices, activities: 3:45 p.m. – ending time varies
