Students at TVS have access to over 40 different databases, for use at school and home. The most frequently used databases are listed by category below. For a complete list, or to cross search a number of databases, click on the Cross-searchable Formats category.
Where to find home access passwords:
Lower School students: access selected databases via your Clever account.
Middle and Upper School students and faculty: “Sign in with Google” works for many databases. Passwords are listed under Library Resources in the Middle and Upper School Canvas pages.

This interface searches four databases: Scribner's Writers, Twayne's Authors, Literature Resource Center, and Gale Virtual Reference Library, with access to 2,000 scholar-signed essays and the content of 900 books, and updated editions of US Authors, World Authors and English Authors. Includes hundreds of thousands of critical excerpts, work overviews, biographical essays and more.
