Domestic Programs
In addition to travel abroad programs, the programs below offer students more opportunities to explore global and multicultural themes within the city, state, or country.
Multicultural Alliance. Students from diverse backgrounds and experiences from DFW come together for a 5-day sleep away camp focusing on leadership and social change. For 10-12th grades (at time of application); advanced registration around May 1. Camp dates: late June; Cost: approx. $325 (financial aid available)
Fort Worth Sister Cities International 10-day day/residential program that connects international and local students to "design and implement leadership and cultural trainings at local Fort Worth community centers that will impact over 500 students of diverse and varied socioeconomic backgrounds." For 9-12th grade students at time of application; applications due in March (includes 2 Teacher Recommendations); program dates vary per year in mid-July; Cost: approx. $750
