A Simpler Time is a collection of eight short comedies, each by a different playwright and each set in a different era. It tells the tale of three teens who climb aboard a homemade time machine. Disillusioned by the craziness of the world today, they travel in search of a time when things were not so complicated and bizarre. After various stops in different centuries, they come to conclude that, no matter the era, if human beings are involved it’s going to be crazy!
The cast of 21 students is directed by Mr. Gene Sessa. Mr. George Miller is the show’s technical director. The production will include puppets, lavish costumes, special effects, and few other theatrical surprises. It is presented by special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc.
